spring fever

Spring fever was in the air, so I picked up some foods and prepped steph's patio while she was swimming for some grill action. I got a tad overzealous with the 1/2 lb. burgs, but they were sure tasty. We watched Synecdoche, NY which was pretty bizarre.

Saturday's weather was even more spring-like. I finally got around to furniture shopping. I picked up these pieces for the living room:




Later on, we all met up at Lui's in Erie for my dad's b-day dinner. It's a tad off the beaten path, but they have delicious chinese food prepared fresh at reasonable prices. Yum. Headed back to hillside for cupcakes and gifts.

Sunday morning we had planned on going up to the slopes, but kind of slacked on skiing. It's been hard to motivate with lackluster snow recently. Not to mention it was another warm & sunny day, so we just hung around milo. I put together the bookshelf, we walked around waneka, and steph made a killer pizza from scratch.
