such a wednesday

Fellow blogger, Joe Gordon, was recently fired (!) for keeping a weblog at work, essentially for satirizing his "sandal-clad" boss. Now, many british bloggers have vowed to boycott the bookstore he used to work at - oh, the scandal.

It looks like Cabbie missed a court date in his federal tax trial because he had checked himself into a psycho ward last week. His strange delusional desperation was really quite humorous. Apparently he had stopped returning phone messages to the feds over the past month, except for a bizarre personal voicemail message for an IRS agent on his case. I would so love to hear that message.
