bikes & trikes

So I got one of those bike cradles that attach to the back of your bike and it essentially makes a stationary bike so you can kepp up with exercise in the winter months. I really got the thing cranked up on wednesday, making a bundle of noise which I was kind of drowning out with the ster-e-ero. After I finished I heard knocking on my door, and the downstairs neighbor looked kind of perplexed and asked me if I was running some sort of motor. Apparently the thing was sending some massive vibrations all through her pad. Looks like I'll be sending that apparatus back to REI.

Class started up again last night. we had a smaller class, 7 including me. there were 3 women from my economics class, and I alomst paired up with them for our group assignments, but they actually meet in person on the weekend to do work at atlanta bread company or something awfully laborious sounding. So I teamed up with the new folks who were more hip to online interaction, closer to my age, and generally cooler anyway. There's the philosophy major/former elementary school teacher, the ad exec chick, and ajaz - the arabic engineer. We call him the jazz man.
