another one down

I just finished up another class last night, and celebrated with some jamaican food fair at the hand of stephanie, who additionally was able to replicate the bridgetown grill's famous black and white soup. I have a brief reprieve until my next class, so it's time to tackle all the other things that have been languishing on the backburner.

Opted to forgo the mountains this weekend, so I could stay on top of the schoolwork. Lucky for me since there were all kinds of silly things going on like avalanches, whiteouts, and drifting snow really messing up traffic. Saw children of men on friday which was good but not great, it kind of reminded me of 28 days later without all the zombies. The best part was the Animals album art cameo in the scene with dudes brother (if you ever watch it, you'll understand what I mean). Hit up valmont park for a few hours of x-country skiing on saturday, and had brunch at the edgewood ladies hut sunday.
