heading east on I-70 west

Took in a phenominal movie friday night, specifically the science of sleep (good call joe!). Post film, stephanie & I dined enjoyably at hapa.

Saturday we geared up for another early morning outta town CU viewing party at my pad. Jean, jacq & dylan arrived a bit late, due to some unforseen GABF festoons, but they certainly did not miss much as CU forgot how well they played against UGA, and played like they did the first 3 games of the season. But enough of that, as the food was tasty and the mimosas were flowing. After kicking our cache of bubbly, we strolled down to pearl street for the fall festival, which was basically just a bunch of local artisans and what have you showing off their wares. We did win a blow up lightsaber by breaking plates with baseballs. Presumably, endless hijinx ensued. The increasingly redundant visit from my aforementioned neighbor transpired right around the time we had already had called it a night.

Sunday started out lazy enough, until we headed up to evergreen to do some mountain biking. On the way, we tried to see if we could find the entrance to the sleeper house in genessee. No luck getting as close as we would have liked. After a celebratory birthday dinner for stephanie's madre, and a subsequent tractor ride around her mountain home, the weekend came to a close.
