dream academy covered ppplmgwiw from The Smiths? Since its just an instrumental I'll assume thats the case.

When I was in high school, my buddy made a 90 minute maxel XLII hi bias cassette filled with The Smiths PPPLMGWIW over and over again through the whole tape. We were all heartbroken over some teenage love crap, so we listened to it cycle through on auto reverse a few times, decided that no matter how bad we had it, we would never be as sad as Morrissey singing that same song so many times we wanted to vomit, so we hit the stop button and went to Taco Bell instead of continuing to torture ourselves. Heartache solved.

Randomly enough, the original smith's version was in another one of John Hughes' movies - pretty in pink!
