contact

The frustration has waned and I've come to terms with the fact that I'm in dire need of a new timing belt, a power steering re-vamp, new front brakes, new oil pump, new spark plugs, and new head gaskets (ouch). Considering that since I've owned my beloved voit it now has 105k miles, it's been across country twice, it goes to the mountains & back most weekends in the winter, and I've never had it serviced, the damage report isn't too bad. Add the fact that it's a '97 which was the first year they made the Outbacks, a lot of the damage is due to since improved upon engine designs. Once I get it back from the subaru dealership sometime next week, all it will need is a new set of tires, and I can cotinue to roll freely around the earth.

-bummed is what you are when you find out it's been towed, neph-
